The Italian Navy patrol vessel “Francesco Morosini” will dock at Sattahip Port (Chonburi) from May 16 to May 19, 2023, as part of its ongoing Indo-Pacific and Far East campaign.
The Italian and local public will have the opportunity to visit Italy’s youngest naval unit, flagship of the Italian Navy, on Thursday, May 18, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Chuksamed pier).

The “Francesco Morosini” is the second of seven multi-purpose offshore patrol vessels (light version) – built entirely in Italy, at Fincantieri’s Riva Trigoso and Muggiano shipyards – that are part of the Navy’s plan to renew the operational lines of naval units. It is a ship with high operational flexibility, designed to carry out both military and civil defense tasks, thanks to its dual capabilities.
