It has been published a call to attend a course of Italian language and culture lasting 3 weeks on Lake Garda in July and August 2022.
The Centre will award up to 50 seats to foreign citizens proving a level of Italian language proficiency equal to B1 at the least in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Each course round has a duration of 3 weeks, which corresponds to 90 hours, and will teach both Italian language and topics related to Italian culture. At the end of the course, the participants will be issued a statement of course completion to earn 3 ECTS university credits.
Participants are requested to pay a fee of EUR 550 which covers the course, three meals per day (i.e, breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the whole period, and didactic activities. The top 17 ranked applicants for each course will be accommodated at the university residence with no further costs; applicants ranked 18 and below for each course will have to look for and pay for their accommodation by themselves with the help of the Course Administrative Office.
Courses are being held in Gargnano on Lake Garda at Palazzo Feltrinelli, which is an ancient and majestic villa with a beautiful garden overlooking the lake and which is also one of the branches of the University of Milan.
The course also includes leisure-didactic activities, such as attending an opera performance at the Arena of Verona, a visit to the ancient lemon house ‘La Malora’ as well as a tour of the Vittoriale degli Italiani, home to poet Gabriele D’Annunzio.
Applications are open until 16th April 2023. Further information is available at this link:
