We would also like to inform
that, due to the ongoing ban on scheduled flights coming into Thailand,
currently valid until July 31 (and with a likely extension) and restricted
entry measures for Thai citizens into Thailand which will remain in force for
an indefinite period, it is advisable to postpone any visa application until the
Thai Authorities have confirmed changes to these provisions. Requests for
short-stay visas with scheduled return flights before 31 August 2020, in
particular, could be considered inadmissible due to the lack of certainty in
being able to secure a return flight back into the country.
On a final note, please bear in
mind that both Italy and Thailand have imposed a mandatory 14-day quarantine
period which must be respected from the moment of entry into both countries.
