The Embassy of Italy in Bangkok is pleased to present the “Italian Film Festival 2023” which will take place in Phnom Penh from Friday 16 June to Sunday 18 June, 2023 at the Raffles Hotel (92 Rukhak Vithei, Phnom Penh 12302).
The Festival, organized in collaboration with the “Asian Film Festival” of Rome and with the support of the Cambodia Film Commission, the Honorary Consulate of Italy in Phnom Penh and the Italian-Cambodian Business Association (ICBA) – Arts Committee, aims at offering the Cambodian public a glimpse on contemporary Italian cinema.
The program includes the screening of the following films:
Friday 16 June
– Drought (La Siccità), 97 minutes, 2022, by Paolo Virzì
– Leonora Goodbye (Leonora Addio), 90 minutes, 2022, by Paolo Taviani
Saturday 17 June
– Dante, 99 minutes, 2022, by Pupi Avati
– The Eight Mountains (Le Otto Montagne), 147 minutes, 2022, by Felix Van Groeningen and Charlotte Vandermeersch
Sunday 18 June
– Small Body (Piccolo Corpo), 89 minutes, 2021, by Laura Samani
– The Strangeness (La Stranezza), 103 minutes, 2022, by Roberto Andò
Admission is free (on a first-come, first-served basis until full capacity of the venue).
All films are in Italian with English subtitles.
