National Day of Sacrifice of Italian Work in the World

On August 8th, the “National Day of Sacrifice of Italian Work in the World” is celebrated, which coincides with the commemoration of the mining accident in Marcinelle, Belgium, where 262 miners, including 136 Italians, lost their lives in the Bois du Cazier mine in 1956.

On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Hon. Antonio Tajani, addressed a message to Italian citizens abroad.
