In Thailand, a middle-income country, there are no longer any Italian Development Cooperation bilateral projects.
Italy, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, finances some multilateral initiatives that also involve Thailand, such as the UN-ESCAP Trust Fund for Tsunami, Disaster and Climate Preparedness with two contributions of 260,000 euros (2022) and 70,000 euros (2024) and a UNHCR project in favor of Myanmar refugees in Thailand with 200,000 euros (2023).
