The exhibition “The Camp of the Wayfarers in Love” by the Italian artist Tarshito – realized in collaboration with Thai artists Inson Wongsam and Rampad Kothkaew and curated by Veronica Caciolli – will be inaugurated on 22 September at River City Bangkok. The Italian artist Nicola Strippoli, aka Tarshito, is involved in a project called “Il sentiero del viandante innamorato”, also sponsored by the Puglia Region, through which he creates and decorates tents together with artists from other countries. In the case of Thailand, they are Inson Wongsam, a well-known national artist, and Rampad Kothkaew, creator of the Monfai Cultural Center, both of whom are residents of Chiang Mai. The product of their collaboration will be two camp tents on which traditional Lanna fabrics, typical of northern Thailand, will be painted and inserted. The exhibition will be open to public for one month at River City.
