The grants and prizes for the promotion of Italian books through the translation of fiction and non-fiction works, as well as for the production, dubbing and subtitling of films, short films and TV-series, intended for mass media circulation, are intended to promote Italian language and culture abroad.<\/p>\n
Type of incentives<\/strong><\/p>\n Publishers, translators, production\/distribution\/dubbing\/subtitling companies, cultural institutions, literary agents and agencies can apply for two types of incentives:<\/p>\n 1) Grants<\/strong>:<\/p>\n \u2013 incentive for the translation into a foreign language and dissemination through publication (including e-book format) of Italian literary and scientific works, whose publication is scheduled after 1 August 2025;<\/p>\n \u2013 incentive for the production, dubbing or subtitling in a foreign language of short films, feature films and television series that will be produced after 1 August 2025;<\/p>\n – the request for funding must be lower than the cost of the project.<\/p>\n 2) Prizes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n \u2013 prize for the translation of Italian works (also in e-book format), including short films, feature films and television series intended for mass media;<\/p>\n \u2013 that have been disseminated, translated, produced, dubbed, subtitled no earlier than January 1, 2025.<\/p>\n How to participate<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Applications must be submitted using exclusively the form attached (click here<\/a>), in Italian or English, which must be sent to the Embassy by mail or in person\u00a0 by April 7, 2025 <\/strong><\/span>to the following address:<\/p>\n Att.
